YOUR FAMILY’S NEXT STEP
Come in. Look around.
Start by exploring Hakma in your browser. Find the stories and activities your child connects with, then decide whether Premium is right for your family.
Hakma is an Islamic learning world for Muslim children and their families. At app.hakmakids.com, children can explore illustrated books, videos, audio, Quran, and interactive Taleem lessons in a browser. Our published mobile apps include Hakma, Taleem, and HakmaQuiz.
How can Hakma help my child love Islam?+
Start with something your child already enjoys: a story, a video, or a question. Use it to open a conversation about Allah, the prophets, gratitude, or good character. Hakma gives your family ways to return to Islamic learning with curiosity. Your example, encouragement, and time together give those lessons meaning.
What age is Hakma for?+
Hakma offers discovery groups for little learners aged 0–7, growing learners aged 8–11, and older children aged 12+. These are browsing guides, not a promise that every title suits every child. Preview the content and choose according to your child’s reading level, interests, and readiness. Enjoy stories and audio together with younger children.
Can my child use it before they can read?+
You can read illustrated stories together, choose audio, or watch a video side by side. For younger children, a parent’s voice, explanation, and conversation can make the experience more meaningful. Independent reading is not the only way to explore Hakma.
What can children do with Quran in Hakma?+
A parent signs in and selects a child profile before opening Quran. The Quran section lets families read and listen, follow along with ayahs, and return to their progress. Use it to support a gentle Quran routine alongside learning with a parent or teacher. It does not replace a qualified teacher for recitation and tajweed.
What is Taleem interactive learning?+
Taleem brings topics into guided learning paths with short lessons, activities, questions, and rewards. Children can explore Islamic topics step by step and put what they learn into practice. Open Taleem through the Learn section of the web app, or choose the separate Taleem mobile app.
Where can my child play Islamic quizzes?+
Explore the published HakmaQuiz app for Islamic questions and quiz challenges. Taleem also includes interactive learning activities. For the dedicated quiz experience, use the HakmaQuiz App Store or Google Play links in the Our Apps section.
Is everything free? Do I need a subscription?+
Hakma includes free and premium content. Premium unlocks the complete premium library and Taleem topics. You can see the current plans and renewal terms in the web app before subscribing. Mobile app purchases and access may differ, so check the relevant store listing.
No download is needed for the web experience. You can browse the library before signing in; reading stories and opening Quran require a parent sign-in. Open app.hakmakids.com in a modern browser on a phone, tablet, or computer. The separate iOS and Android apps are available if your family prefers a download.
Can more than one child have a profile?+
The web app supports child profiles so families can select a child and keep their learning experience personal. Use your parent account to set up profiles and explore the library and progress features together.
Which languages are available?+
Content language options include English, Arabic, Bangla, Indonesian, Malay, and Urdu. The interface offers additional languages, but some use English content. Availability varies by title and activity; select your language in the app to see what is available.
How should I choose content for my child?+
Explore the content with your child first. Use age groups and interests to find a starting point, and talk about anything they do not understand. Families may have different preferences about animation, audio, and religious teaching; choose the titles and formats that work for yours.
Is Hakma’s Islamic content reviewed?+
Hakma’s Islamic content is scholar-reviewed. If you want to understand the approach to a particular story or lesson, contact the team at contact@gurho.com with the title and your question. For personal religious guidance or questions specific to your family’s tradition, speak with a trusted teacher or scholar.
How is my family’s information handled?+
Account and learning features use information such as account details and activity progress. Read the privacy policy for the published apps and review the terms presented by the service you use. Contact contact@gurho.com with privacy, access, or deletion questions.
Plan to use an internet connection for the web app and its content. Offline availability can differ between the mobile apps and individual features; check the app you intend to use before relying on it while travelling.
Does Hakma replace Islamic school or learning with a teacher?+
Hakma is a companion to family learning and teaching. Stories, Quran listening, videos, and interactive lessons can help you revisit ideas at home. Parents and teachers remain essential for discussion, understanding, recitation, and putting Islam into practice. Schools can also explore the separate Hakma School Platform.
Does the Hakma web app show advertising?+
The Hakma web app is ad-free. Your child can explore its learning content without advertising interruptions. Some content requires Premium; review the current plans before choosing a subscription.
